Regular price $1,950.00The Centrex 1000 from Sun-Mar is a central designed composting toilet system for use with electricity and light seasonal use. It includes a built-in heating element and fan assembly with a 1 inch drain hose that needs to be connected to all applications. It is designed to be used with a Sun-Mar 1 pint flush toilet which is included as a bundled option. We included the 511 Ultra-low flush toilet in the bundle. It is the recommended pairing and looks most similar to a residential toilet.
Multiple toilets can be connected to this system. When paired with 1 toilet it has a capacity of 5 adults and families up to 7 for seasonal/vacation use.

About the Brand
Sun-Mar was founded in 1983 and is a pioneer in composting and recycling technology. Sun-Mar's founder Hardy Sundberg developed the first self-contained composting toilet in 1971 that did not require reliance on municipal waste.

The AC/DC kit from Sun-Mar allows this electric unit to be converted to operate in a 12Volt or non-electric mode. When converted the unit will have both a 2 inch and 4 inch vent stack and can be used with the Excel, Centrex 1000, Centrex 2000 and Centrex 3000 systems.
